Twine’ified Eggs

So this week we’ve had beautiful Spring weather here in So. Cal. and it is definitely making me long for warm days at the beach.  But it’s also inspiring me to start my transition to spring decor.  Technically we have over a month till Spring but the longer I can enjoy it… the better.

So while perusing Dollar Tree yesterday I was inspired by their plastic eggs.

*****

Why not wrap the egg with twine… because everything looks better twine’ified, right?

A little moss nest cradles a twine egg…

Or a bunch in a pretty white bowl…

Spanish moss and twine’ified eggs make for a sweet centerpiece.

If you have a ton of plastic eggs in storage & twine, this makes for a free project… if not Dollar Tree has 18 eggs for $1 and twine too.

I used hot glue to adhere the twine to the eggs.

Stay tuned for a few other twist of this idea…

Very smart. I like the twine idea. I'm not an extremely pastel-colored person and this would be a nice way to have Easter around my house without the "offending" colors (Ok, pastel is not offensive, I promise. I do like some pastels). Thanks for the idea!
