For the LOVE of Green…

I love the color green!

Every room downstairs has some green in it.  I love how fresh, clean and relaxing it feels.

So today I thought I’d show you some of my splashes of green…. since Spring is almost here!  I’m so excited we change the time on Sunday!

I love my little green bird.  I won this Living Life Creatively bird @ Funky Junk.  It’s found it’s home on my Entertainment Center that we built from 3 Ikea Shelves.

This little green votive lantern came from the Dollar Spot of Target last Spring.

The little green planter on the top shelf came from the Dollar Spot at Target too.  The green plate came from a model home outlet.

I love these curtains that I found at Ikea.  They hang in our kitchen nook area.

Caraway Behr paint is in my kitchen and nook area.  It’s a great color… soft and goes great with black and browns.

I love the green paint in my guest bedroom… Mother Nature by Behr… works nicely with the Ballard’ish painting I did last fall.

A carafe filled with split peas adds a great splash of green on my mantle.

This bright green bucket with twigs is happy spring reminder… bucket was 25 cents at a garage sale.

Are you ready for Spring?

I am finding myself leaning towards the soft shades of green right now, too. It must be my longing for spring! I'm going to look for something in a soft green to use as a tablerunner while I'm thrifting today!
    Thanks for the "green" tour!

Thank goodness their is still someone besides me that decorates with color. Everyone seems to be caving in to the white, tan and may a touch of blue thing. Don't get me wrong I think it is beautiful, I just don't thinkit is the only option, and I seems like that is the only thing we get to see. I love neautral peice but then use at least a little color to add some life. So I guess all my rambling is to say I LOVE YOU GREEN.

    HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND,
    CHA CHA

Thank you for my birthday wish

I also love to accent with green in my home. It all began with an Amish hutch we have in the kitchen that is green. Lately my favorite way to add green is with plants. I guess I am ready for spring! I love that so many of your things listed here are from the $1 spot in Target and Ikea…two of my favorite places!

Love your touches of green. Creative minds think alike. I had plan to post the same post yesterday!! (weird) I took a few pics of my green accents and my batteries died on my camera so I went to plan B. I guess your little bird sparked your idea. For me, I was dusting. LOL

I LOVE the split pea idea! How simple, and how gorgeous!

We too love us some green in this household. I love that it works with every season:
Green, and pastels for spring; green and blue for summer (like fresh cut grass and clear summer skies); green and brown for fall; green and red for Christmas; and you could do a green and winter-white for that between period after the holidays.

Oh yeah, for the love of green baby!
