Hello Happy Painters!
Here’s another flashback project from last fall…
When we moved into our house, my oldest daughter was in Kindergarten. With the start of homework I wanted to find a pretty little desk for her room. So I kept my eyes open at garage sales and scoured Craigslist hoping to find a great deal.
Then one day I came upon the deal of all deals… a FREE little girl’s desk on Craigslist. It was near my parents house, so I quickly called them to see if they were available to pick it up, all while shooting off email to see if it was still available. It’s all about timing with Craigslist!
Thankfully it was still available(it had just been listed). My parents were gracious enough to pick it up and brought it out on their next visit.
When my dad unloaded it I was in awe! Sure it needed some sanding and paint, but this desk was so beautiful & perfect for one of my little princesses.
Here she is after being sanded, primed and 2 coats of white paint.
I changed out the hardware to these cute crystal, pink handles and knob from Target.
Gotta have a close-up on the GORGEOUS detailing…
Isn’t she pretty!!! Total cost = about $15. I had all the paint supplies, so just had to purchase the hardware.
LOVE IT and even better, so does my daughter.
So what have you been painting?
