Have you been to a Habitat for Humanity ReStore?
I love visiting them!
This week my son had a dentist appointment & happy day for me, the dentist is very close to the ReStore that is in Temecula, CA.
So… I thought I’d take you along for a ReStore visit…
Lots of sinks…
TONS of doors!
Lots of blinds, ceiling fans & duct…
Check out the paint selection… the quarts were $1.50!
Need a toilet? The gallon paint is on the shelf… $5!
Boxes & boxes of tiles!
Check out these shutters… 2 for $5! I’m not sure what they were made of… it wasn’t solid wood or I would have grabbed some.
And TONS of cabinets doors ~ most were only $1!
This place seriously makes a DIYer’s head spin!
I only had about 10 minutes in the store before we had to pick up the girls, so this is all I walked away with…
A quart of what I thought was a lovely blue… it’s called Polished Silver though… got to love warehouse lighting.
A dreary grey called Porpoise
A can of Valspar spray paint called Baby Blue
and this 4 foot shelf for only $1.
Check out Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore’s Website and see if they have a store near you… you can score some GREAT deals and help a GREAT cause!

I love to go to our local Re-Store, too. Yours looks bigger and cleaner, though.
We have a Re-Store on the other side of Houston. I think I need to make a trip out there to check it out.
Thanks for the tour!!!
Wow! Thank you so much for this tip. I checked the website, and there are several in my area. Thanks!!
Thanks for taking me inside. I always wondered what types of things you could find there. We donate to one and they come and pick up but I have never gone to one at least not yet. I hear ours carries furniture too. I need to make the trip!
I am lucky enough to work in a Habitat for Humanity ReStore and I am now reluctant to go to retail shops for anything.
I started as a volunteer, but now I have a few paid hours (and still quite a few as a volunteer) as the assistant manager is away on sick leave for an extended period. But I am finding that I spend most of my wages in the store anyway! I love it!!!
No idea this existed. And I'll be darned. There is a store 5 miles from my work.
It is so funny that you would be posting about this, because my hubby and I were **just** talking last night about finding one of these in our area. I hadn't ever heard about them until this week!
Thanks so much for linking to their site. I will definitely be making a little field trip this weekend!

I'm fortunate enough to live in Sacramento where there are 2 restores within driving distance. We've mostly purchased donated tools (router + table and bits) and a framing nailer. I had to take my husband to make sense of all the parts, but he put together 2 lights for our garage for under $10! Love that place! And they let me take my dog in there, too!
I went for my first visit a few weeks ago…awesome stores! Thanks for coming by for a visit:)
Blessings,
Linda
Great finds! I always forget to check there for paint – thanks for the reminder.

our restore looks nothing like yours. i'm jealous.
Oooo they have one in Columbus! Yippee!
oh hooray! I've looked before for a ReStore and there wasn't any close to me. I just checked and there is one right next to my work! Oh all the lunch breaks I'll be spending there!
You have a great Restore! I'm isn't nearly as stocked and the prices are high! Great finds
