You know I adore shells. There is something so relaxing about collecting shells at the beach.
This last week we got to the beach once. It was cloudy and cool, so the kiddos played in the sand more than the water… so I got more shells!
I took some terra-cotta pots that I had in the garage, my newly collected shells and my trusty glue gun.
I started with the large shells and then filled in the spaces with the smaller shells.
I love the look of a shell trim.
I’m working on summer’izing my mantle.
I put my larger pot out front on our paver patio.
Now I just need a cute plant for it.
So how are you getting ready for summer?

I love the shells! Happy summer!

Love shells. I've planted my pots outside with a mixture of flowers. Keeping my long bed watered in this heat wave, and counting the days for fall to arrive!

I love your pots! I like the idea of just doing the border, much less time consuming than doing the whole pot.
Hmmmm! That's a great idea. I might have to add shells to my pots. They look great.
This is a truly wonderful transformation. So creative and clever!
It's lovely…, I'll include it in my upcoming shell pot post this Thursday -keep crafting -love it!!!
