Welcome Painters!!!
I’m sure you’ve seen these toilet paper creations throughout bloggyland…
well… of course I needed to make some.
“Blondie’s” room needed some updated art, so we had fun creating.
It’s so simple!
~ Collect your toilet paper rolls
~ Flatten your toilet paper rolls
~ Cut your toilet paper rolls
~ Staple your cut pieces together
(I used a mini stapler I had… you can find them at Dollar Tree)
~ Paint if you want! I used a can of glossy white spray paint
(Wal-Mart brand for under $1)
The hardest part was the painting because of all the angles and the paint seemed to absorb into the cardboard.
I found cute colored push pins at Target… makes for an adorable flower center!
Cute flower art for a sweet 8-yr-old = $2
So what have you been painting???

Maryann, love those flowers! I've seen them previously, but I really like how they look in multiples. May have to try that out in my daughter's room…

LOVE the wall art. Super cute! Thanks for hosting another paint party
Those flowers look gorgeous. The perfect accent for that wall. I bet people about fall over when you tell them how you made the flowers. Great project. Time to get out my bookmarker!
Thanks everyone!
Leanne we made eight flowers total. I still have a bunch of toilet paper rolls saved… I'm not sure if I'll make more for her room or for another project… hum?
Can't wait to try this. When you say cut the rolls of tp – are you cutting them in three so you have three flowers from each roll?
Carmie ~ I'd say they were cut into at least 10+ pieces… each cut was about 1/4" thick.
Those flowers are so pretty! What a great idea. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I really appreciate it!
That is seriously cute – maybe I ought to with my eight-year-old.
if i didn;t read this, i would've thought they were metal flowers! those are really cute, actually- i have not seen them b4- maybe i've been living under a rock? anyway, thanks for hosting, i just love this party, i have to keep coming back when i have time to look at all the great links! ~decorating diva
