This year I decided to create a whimsical, cheery and bright, silver and red mantle for Christmas.
I just finished making my ruffled mirror… LOVE it. I’ll give you all the details tomorrow on how I made it.
Isn’t she lovely!
Most of these bulbs I scored for FREE from an after garage sale free-for-all!
I took a grenadine bottle (love my Pepsi & grenadine) and spray painted it. I filled the bottle with some branches and hung some sparkly red and silver bulbs.
Shimmery!
Our silver “JOY” stocking holders hang the kiddos’ stockings.
My favorite carafe is filled for this season with fresh cranberries… cheap and a great pop of color.
I took one of the farmhouse stars from my family room wall and gave it a silvery shine with spray paint. I’m sure I’ll repaint it after Christmas… one of the many reasons I LOVE paint!
I filled one of my Pottery Barn’ish mason jar candleholder with some more fresh cranberries.

So how are you Counting Down to Christmas?
This is an easy link up party… so no button or link-back is necessary, it just has to be Christmas related!
