I haven’t done a “for the love of” for a while… but this week I’ve seen a few photos of gorgeous butcher block countertops, and of course, I had to share!
Aren’t they gorgeous! My dream countertop someday (at least on my island).

love them! I know Ikea sells some butcher block that I've seen around the blogosphere that I really love. Now I just need to move closer to an ikea! hehe
Ooooh, that first picture has me completely drooling. It's just beautiful right down to every last detail. I'm in love!!

Wow, I think it is the high gloss on all of them that make them outstanding! I am looking at them in an entirely different way!

Love them!! I have faux butch blocks tops on mine. I like the look but someday I hope for the real thing!
Those are gorgeous. I love the mix of black granite and butcher block. So, so nice.
I love how they warm up the all white kitchen, it is so pretty. I was on the fence about getting them for my kitchen next year and then read a post about how much someone loves their butcher tops so I decided I am going to do it! Great post!
Those are so pretty! I haven't seen any quite that beautiful! That DOES make you think about butcher block!! Hmmm…
They are gorgeous! I like them paired with white cabinets. Love the inspiration photos!

Hi, I love the look of butcher block!!! We started a kitchen redo last year and I put the butcher block counter tops Ikea sells and I love them….They are very resonable…Thanks for the great pictures!!
I have had butcher block counters for about 5 years now and I still LOVE them. Mine are only oiled and waxed, no glossy finish but that makes them great for baking and pastry making. I sand, re-oil and wax once very 4 months or so. It is not hard at all and it makes me clean off the counters completely (you know how clutter can collect). I have had several types (granite, tile, laminate) of counter tops in different homes and by far the butcher block is the very best.
They are gorgeous and I linked this to my countertops post today – for inspiration!
