Get Organized Party… Week 2… The Kitchen

I just started a great giveaway last night… click HERE for all the details.

Maybe it’s your pantry, your junk drawer, your Tupperware space, your spice cabinet, refrigerator or the kiddos Sippy cups and bottles. I know I have a few of those that need to be done!  Anything in your kitchen you need to organize?

I took on the kiddo’s cups/crazy straws/popsicle trays cupboard.

It may not look horrible, but just wait till we peak behind the nicely stacked front rows.

Lid overload

old water bottles

and a mess of popsicle trays.  The bubbles… I have no idea!  You mean you don’t have bubbles in your kitchen cupboards?

I tossed out more than 1/2 of the cups and lids.

Here’s what I ended up with…

On the front right you can see that I took the remaining lids and put them in the base of a storage container… nice and neat!

I kept one sippy cup for the younger nieces or nephews when they visit.

This is now the fun cup, fun straw and popsicle shelf.

And my top shelf is now empty!  Smile

After you organize your shelves, you can move onto appliances and clean them up. You can start by taking out old food you don’t eat from your fridge. Cleaning the shelves of the refrigerator is a great idea to do at this time. Cleaning the oven and checking up on the dishwasher are also good ways to keep your kitchen running smooth. Making sure everything is in good condition is important. Appliance parts are easy to find online for cheap at websites such as this one.

So how did your organizing go?  I can’t wait to see!

Domestically Speaking

I’d love for you to have this button in your blog post or sidebar, so others can check out all the organization ideas that will be shared.

The only real rule though… it must be an organization post!

So… show-off your newly organized kitchen area:

You can still link up your organized storage area at the Week 1 Get Organized Party HERE.

I always have way too many plastic kids cups. It feels good to get rid of them. Thanks for hosting this party.
