Yes, I love them too. Did you see the P.E. Collection ones in the new Ballard Designs catalog? I'm thinking of trying to knock off some of the wall hanging ones for incoming and outgoing paperwork for the kids. There are a couple tutorials out there to use hardware cloth and stiffer wire to make your own.
I do absoutely love wire baskets, especially rusty ones. I love the hanging lamp idea, I'll have to try that one

I have a couple of wire basket lamp shades myself! I love them! I've also taken 3 wire baskets with the solid bottom and painted them to look like flowers for my garden area!
