96th Power of Paint Party ~ Beadboard

Welcome Paint Lovers!

Last week I FINALLY got around to painting the beadboard wallpaper I hung on a wall of our family room… and boy does it make it look even more real!

Check it out…

I’m going to place a 2 1/2” board up on top of the board there to create a ledge shelf.

Doesn’t it look so real???!!!

I just used one coat of gloss white paint.

I’m working on a detailed post about my experience with beadboard wallpaper.  I actually used 2 different brands on this wall (you couldn’t tell, could you?).

I can tell you I LOVE it and that I can’t wait to use it again.

And I’m updating the Ikea espresso brown panels that were hanging in the room… gotta have some burlap!

So what have you been painting???

Power of Paint Party Rules:

#1… This is a PAINT party… so pretty please, link-up only paint related projects.  I HATE deleting!

#2… Please put my nifty POPP button (you can find it up in my menu bar’s BUTTONS) in your blog post or a link back to this party somewhere on your blog… that way others from your blog can check out all the paint projects too.

#3… Share the Love… visit the other paint pals.

    Maryann,
I have this paper in my kitchen!
Isn't is awesome? Easy and pretty.
Our Master Bath tub surround is about to get a papering with the leftovers, too :)
I shared my post (#69) about how I store my leftover paint from my projects, I'm hoping it's considered "paint-related" :)
I love these parties of yours and I'm sure I have a jar or two of paint that can be used for some of the ideas shown today, like #16 and #30!
    Thank you!
    HUGS and blessings to you!
