Spring is almost here! And I’m so excited for the extra hour of light tonight.
I made some of these eggs a few years ago… but I need some more for my Spring décor this year.
These eggs are so simple to make.
Here’s what you need…
I start at the bottom of the plastic egg and wind my way up. I use the cooler hot glue on this project… because your fingers will get glue on them.
Oh how I love twine!
I’ve got some on my mantel…
that I added a splash of acrylic paint to.
And now I’ve got some of the kitchen table.

Those twine eggs are so so so AWESOME! I was just wondering how I could make something using plastic eggs, except I don’t like how they look. . . . glad you’re so smart

I love the twine wrapped eggs. I recently wrapped a Styrofoam ball, but may have to try these as well. I also linked up a St Patty’s day post. Hope that qualifies as spring.

Help, please. I love these eggs but I am currently living in a place I would have no idea where to get a hot glue gun. I don’t have a transformer for my U.S. one. Any ideas, ladies, what else I can use to attach twine to plastic. Thanks
Andrea ~ You could try white glue or whatever type of glue you have available. I’d think it will slide easier since it won’t dry as quickly, but it’s worth a try.
