121st Power of Paint Party.. Faux Ceramic

Welcome Paint Lovers to this week’s Power of Paint Party… a party all about paint  for those who LOVE it!

I’ve got another giveaway going on this week from Birdsong… super cute bow and accessories!  You can click HERE to enter!

Oh… and we can’t forget!  The winner of the $75 Amazon voucher (selected by random.org) is… Cheri Peoples!!!  Congrats Cheri!!!

Last week I showed you my burlap’ified bookshelves.  Well… in “I can’t keep well enough alone” fashion… I’m still tweaking the décor and decided I wanted some more white on the shelves to really help make the burlap pop.

I noticed Dollar Tree had some plastic fruit, so I picked up some apples and pears.  I put tape around the stems… and then hung them outside.

With a few coats of Krylon’s Fusion spray paint (made for plastic) I had some wanna-be ceramic apples and pears.

So what have you been painting?

Power of Paint Party Rules:

#1… This is a PAINT party… so pretty please, link-up only paint related projects.

#2… I’d love if you put my nifty POPP button (you can find it up in my menu bar’s BUTTONS) in your blog post or a link back to this party somewhere on your blog… that way others from your blog can check out all the paint projects too. (not a requirement but always appreciated)

#3… Share the Love… visit the other paint pals.
