Happy Monday Friends! I couldn’t resist that title. While writing up this post I kept thinking about the game, Clue. Did you guys play that as kids? It was Colonel Mustard… with the knife… in the Conservatory.
Well after making the rope coasters a few weeks ago, I wanted to add some more nautical details in the family room.
The hardest part of this project was the time it took to hot glue the rope on the candlestick.
I had the candlestick for a while now. I think it was an “after a garage sale freebie” that I’ve painted a few times. And the rope I had already… so a free to me project…. wahoo.
A fun nautical touch that adds some texture to the mantel.
Something to enjoy the last weeks of summer and I might even incorporate it into my fall décor… hum??
Thanks for stopping by friends…

Cute idea. And, I loved the title. So fun
