151st Power of Paint Party… Ombre Drawers

Welcome Paint Lovers to this week’s Power of Paint Party… a party about paint and only paint!

This week I did some more work on our oldest daughter’s bedroom.  A  month or so ago we painted her walls OMBRE STYLE.  She’s going for that So. Cal. beachy feel for a ten-year-old.

The dresser she has been using was my grandmas.  I had painted it with gingham drawer fronts when she was a toddler ~ it matched her Pottery Barn Kids quilt so cutely!  But now with new wall color and new bedding it was time to update the dresser as well.

We decided to carry the ombre theme onto the dresser drawers as well.

The middle drawer paint color is the combo of 2 Dutch Boy paints (you can get all the color details here).

Stay tuned…

Now we are on the hunt for some cute knobs!  She’s wanting something beachy… I’m thinking some cute silver starfish knobs.
