Happy Monday ~ It’s Valentine’s Week and I’ve got a yummy dessert to share with you guys!
I don’t know about you, but I adore chocolate and strawberries together!
I made a homemade chocolate cake with our fav family recipe, but you could easily substitute for a box mix if you prefer.
I put the cake batter in a cute heart shaped pan for Valentine’s Day.
For the filling between the 2 heart cakes I took Cool Whip’s Cream Cheese frosting and added about 1/2 cup of strawberry jam and combined them well.
For the strawberry topping ~ I took frozen strawberries and cooked them down on low in a saucepan till they were soft and lots of juices had been released.
Then I spooned the strawberries and sauce on top of the cute chocolate hearts.
If you love chocolate and strawberries too… you will adore this!
Have a great week friends….
* I was not compensated in any form from Cool Whip… just genuinely LOVE this frosting.
