How to Make Moss Eggs

Happy Monday Friends!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  We had gorgeous early Spring weather here in So. Cal… which was perfect for basketball, family time, BBQ’ing and even some weeding.

Last Friday I shared my Spring Mantel and one of the features of this year’s mantel are the cute moss eggs I made.  So today I’m sharing how incredible easy they are to make.

I purchased my bag of moss at Michael’s, but I also saw Target was selling a small bag in their $1 Spot area for $3.

This project is a little messy… between the moss and the hot glue, but like I said… It’s super easy.

I covered about 1/4 of the egg at a time with hot glue and then just stuck a bunch of moss to it.  Keep working your way around the egg and when it’s covered make sure to give it a squeeze to help the moss lay a bit flatter around the egg.

When you’re finished you’ll have a collections of cute moss eggs.
