Hi Friends! Hope your week is going great. I just got back from a few days at the beach, which was glorious and a great escape from the crazy heat we’ve been having. Well… we are one day away from the 4th of July and I’ve got a quick and yummy treat that kiddos and adults will like.
Star shaped marshmallows
Melting Chocolate (I used white and milk chocolate)
sprinkles or colored sugars
Insert the stick into the marshmallows making sure you don’t poke it through the top.
I melted my chocolate in the microwave. I usually start with 30 seconds and then give it a stir to see how it’s melting. Continue with 30 second increments until the chocolate is melted and smooth without chunks.
Dip the star marshmallows in the chocolate and then immediately sprinkle with your red and blue sprinkles.
I let them dry on parchment paper to prevent sticking. If you want to quicken the process you can toss them in the freezer for a few minutes.
This cutie loved hers after a hot softball game!
This is a fun activity for your kiddos to help out with too. My seven-year-old helped to make this batch.
Thanks for stopping by & have a safe and fun 4th of July!!!© Copyright 2013 Maryann @ Domestically Speaking, All rights Reserved. Written For: Domestically Speaking
