I came across a plastic, orange pumpkin at a garage sale last month. For 50 cents I grabbed it!
I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it, since I was going with more neutral’s in my fall décor this year. (you can see my autumn mantel here)
When I saw Pottery Barn’s pretty brown pumpkins…
I knew I wanted to try to replicate their beauties.
Here’s my version…
“my brown paper packages tied up with string”
I just tore up a brown paper bag into small pieces, crumbed those pieces up and then decoupaged them onto my pumpkin.
Then I used some Burnt Umber & Espresso Brown acrylic paint to cover up the green stem.
So what have you been painting???
