A Little Thrift Store Hanging Basket
Happy Wednesday Friends! It’s time for our monthly Thrift Store Decor Blog Hop. Are you a thrift store shopper? I’ve scored some great items at thrift stores… you’ve got to dig sometimes… but the payoff can be great! Today I’ve got a cute Hanging Basket that I made over.
While thrift store perusing, my youngest daughter came across this cute hanging basket. I loved the color already, but decided to add some paint to give it a bit of beachy vibe.
I used some white and a blue/gray acrylic paint and just dry brushed parts of the basket. Just that little bit of paint changed the look of the basket, giving it more character.
I filled it with some beautiful faux flowers and had an instant summer bouquet to hang in our family room.
I think I might hang it on our front door eventually.
Now make sure to check out these other amazing ladies and their great Thrift Store Decor makeover!

I love thrift stores and garage sales and I love this basket! The blues are great and this could hang in the narrowest of spots and look fantastic. Great job! I’ll be on the lookout for a basket like this now
I couldn’t believe it when we found it… it’s such a great basket!
