Building a Christmas Tree and a $500 Home Depot Giveaway
Happy Weekend Friends!
Post and giveaway sponsored by The Home Depot, but all opinions are my own. Please see below for additional disclosure.
Last Saturday I had the privilege of flying out to gorgeous Colorado for The Home Depot #DIYWorkshop. We were teaching people how to build this cute wooden Christmas tree.
It was a gorgeous, sunny day in Arvada, Colorado so they were able to hold the #DIYWorkshop outside.
The Home Depot was prepped for the day with directions for each person.
It was so great to help people use power tools for the first time. The Home Depot #DIYWorkshop is a great place to learn new skills or strengthen ones you already have.
Watching people admire the tree they cut out is so much fun!
If you’ve never been to a #DIYWorkshop at The Home Depot I strongly encourage you to check them out. The #DIYWorkshops are free workshops for do-it-yourselfers of all ages and experience levels.
It’s a great way to challenge and inform yourself on how to take on more DIY projects in your home.
I made one of these cute trees before I headed off to Colorado last week.
I went for a more natural look staining the wood. You can learn how to build your own Holiday Wood Yard Christmas Tree here.
Next weekend they are going to be making the cute JOY sign up in my first photo at The Home Depot #DIYWorkshop… looks like a fun one! You can check out all the upcoming #DIYWorkshops here.
Now the awesome folks at The Home Depot want to share some love with you with this great giveaway… a $500 Home Depot Gift Card!!!
Good Luck Friends!

I have not been to one but I’ve always wanted to go as I love making things. I don’t really have any ideas of what I’d like to learn though… this Christmas tree decoration is super cute though!

I haven’t been to the grown up DIY workshops there but I have gone to a few of the kids ones. They are SO much fun and both my girls LOVE them. I’m hoping my local HD has one of the JOY sign workshops so I can go to that. Thanks for the chance to win 🙂

I have not been to a workshop but would like to learn how make a pretty holiday wreath
I haven’t been to a #DIYworkshop. I would love one that centered on basic home maintenance items like recaulking a bathtub, installing blinds, etc. I have tons of little things I would love to cross of my list but I’m intimidated by them.
I have never been to Home Depot for a workshop, but I am in and out of there on a weekly basis….sometimes more!! I LOVE their area rugs!
Thank you so much for allowing me to enter your drawing.
Blessings,
J
I haven’t been yet but I’m going to my first one THURSDAY!
I haven’t gone to one. I would like to and I would like to find out about redoing my deck.
