Burlap and Lace Runner
I am so excited about this Burlap Lovers Series! If you missed yesterday’s post from Barb at The Everyday Home… make sure to check out her Burlap and Galvanized Metal Gather Sign. It’s so cute and easy to make and she shares all the details! I’ve got an easy Burlap and Lace Runner to share with you guys today. I love the combo of burlap and lace. Something so rustic paired with something so dainty is just beautiful.
Today is day #2… so there’s still a lot of great burlap projects to come…
Here’s what you need:
- Burlap – I used a piece 6 feet long and 1 foot wide
- lace ribbon – double your length plus 18″
- scissors
- iron
Start by trimming your burlap to the size you want. Then iron it.
Fold over the edge of the burlap and cut 1/4″ slits at two inch intervals.
Weave the lace ribbon through the slits.
Tie off the ends with a simple knot.
So simple and so pretty! I’ve made a few for different occasions and you can swap out the ribbon too.
I think burlap and lace is the perfect addition for the fall season.
This is such an amazing idea! Thanks for sharing it. I’m Anita visiting from Artsy Fartsy Link Party.
So Cute…love this idea and how you can swap out the ribbon!
