Christmas Home Tour 2013
Welcome friends and newbies! Happy Friday to you. I’m so excited to be apart of Home for the Holidays virtual Christmas Home Tour! I adore Christmas… yes I’m one of those people who starts listening to Christmas music in September. Getting to share our home all dressed up for Christmas is a thrill.
I’m honored to be a part of Home for the Holidays and helping to finish off an amazing week of Christmas Home Tours. At the end of this post you can find the links to all the gorgeous homes that participated.
So come on in and make yourself at home…
In our entry I created a cute vignette on a dresser we picked up from a storage auction.
These cute sweater snowman buddies are all nestled up against the little Christmas tree.
I reused one of my favorite Christmas crafts from last year… Epsom Salt Pinecones.
Dangling from strands of burlap in their snowy cluster looking pretty.
Our family room is the hub of our home. It flows right into our kitchen and nook.
The armoire got decked out with some wreaths adorned with festive red bows.
These wreaths were from Dollar Tree… but decked out they look like a million bucks. (I’ll be sharing more about them and the wreaths in our kitchen nook later next week)
In our desk / homework area in the corner I placed the Pottery Barn inspired Peace Love Joy burlap pillow I made.
Our Christmas mantel really showcases the feel of my Christmas décor this year… I’m calling it rustic glam.
I am loving that galvanized bucket… I found that cutie at Marshals.
I filled it with some faux berries and some evergreen clippings from the yard.
The pinecone and twine wrapped mason jar was another project from last year.
And earlier this week I shared my String Art Christmas Tree.
The final area I wanted to share with you guys in our kitchen nook.
Once again.. simple… rustic… with a little glam.
A simple burlap runner adorned with some evergreen clippings and some shiny gold ornaments.
I made some cute wreaths for the chair backs (upgraded Dollar Tree wreaths).
A little tree with a simple Christmas plaid bow on top for the centerpiece.
Finished off with some fun dishes and my great aunts gorgeous stemware.
Thank you so much for touring my home. I hope you loved it as much as we do. But wait the party is just starting because One Kings Lane is sponsoring Home for the Holidays . So you my awesome readers have a giveaway!
