A Joyful Christmas Mantel

Sharing is caring!

I love decorating for Christmas!  I’m one of those people who starts playing Christmas music in September… so I’m thrilled when I get to share Christmas goodies with you and today I’ve got this year’s Christmas mantel!  I’ve joined up with some awesome blogger in a fun 3 day Christmas Mantel event… so make sure to check out everyone listed at the end of the post for some great ideas.  This year’s Christmas Mantel is all about Joy!

Joyful Christmas Mantel

I love the centerpiece on this year’s Christmas mantel.  I used a big, beautiful evergreen wreath and put a chunky J and Y on either side.

The wreath is wrapped in a burlap ribbon and a beautiful sheer gold ribbon.

I brushed some gold leaf onto the tips on some pinecones the kiddos had collected.

I love the beautiful richness it adds.

Joyful Christmas Mantel

The ends of the mantel have burlap wrapped mini Christmas trees finished up with a plaid ribbon.

I decided to add some pomegranates to the mantel too.  Our pomegranate tree is overflowing this year.

I love their vibrant red!
