Countdown to Autumn… Fall Bottles
Hi friends! I hope all my east coast friends are safe and that you’re starting to dry out.
We’ve been in a heat wave here in So. Cal., which is normal for late August, but we’ve had the humidity going too… which turns me into a wimp.
As much as I’m craving autumn… it’s hard to get into my fall inspiration mode when I’m sweating, but I did manage to come up with some fall bottles.
I think I will incorporate them into my autumn mantel… time will tell.
I came across these gorgeous green bottles in our recycle pile in the garage. They are Martinelli’s sparkling cider bottles.
After soaking them in vinegar & water for a while, the labeling scrubbed off easily. For the writing I used a chalkboard marker. Have you used them before? LOVE THEM! I used it on my Mom’s Chores board too.
So how are you getting ready for Autumn?
This is an easy link party, meaning you don’t have to include a button or link back (but I’m thankful & thrilled if you do).
The only rule… it MUST be autumn (fall) related!!!
So link up your fall décor, your favorite fall recipes, family traditions, back to school goodies… anything AUTUMN!
Inspire us…
The bottle idea is great, I may steal it,lol. I love Fall and can't wait to by my first pumpkin!
I love the bottles! They're kind of spooky looking. At 104 degrees, I'm not in the mindset of fall, but we'll get there!
I love autumn, but I am still in Summer mode for another 2 days until the children start back to school. Then I will be joining in for sure!
It's seems like it has been abnormally hot here in Utah too? I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fall and can hardly wait for it! Thanks for the fun party 🙂 Your green bottles are beautiful!
I am so ready for Fall…thanks so much for hosting. It's cooling off in the evenings now and getting darker earlier. Sure signs that it's coming!
Hi Maryann, it's still warm here too So. Missouri, but the days are shorter and the light changes, which I love, with a few colors in the leaves starting to show, so I'm ready to dive in to Fall! Thanks for a great party idea!
