My Baker’s Twine Apple Art is the perfect way to get your fall on.  Are you excited too!  I just adore Fall and can’t wait to be inspired with all your awesome fall goodies. Today I’ve got an adorable Fall craft to share with you guys.

twine apple art

Last month I scored some baker’s twine from Pick Your Plum (LOVE that site).   I got red/white, blue/white and gray/white.  I kept walking past them in my craft stash trying to come up with a project to do… when one day it hit me.

Every year in the fall we take a least one trip up to our local apple pickin’ area… such a fun tradition!  So I thought… a Baker’s Twine Apple!

How to Make a Twine Apple Art

I created an apple in Photoshop and printed it out on cardstock paper.  I made it a very light gray so you wouldn’t notice it through the twine.

burlap, fall, teacher

I used regular white glue to attach the twine.

burlap, fall, teacher

The tip of the white glue worked perfectly to get that white glue right to the edges.

burlap, fall, teacher

I found some green twine and regular brown jute twine at Dollar Tree… score!

burlap, fall, teacher

Love the little leaf…

burlap, fall, teacher

I used burlap as my matting.

I always adore burlap in fall décor!

I think this would make for a GREAT teacher’s gift too!  You could print your teacher’s name at the bottom… how cute would that be!

So there you go… my Baker’s Twine Apple Art!

Your baker’s twine apple is so beautiful! I recently received quite a bit of twine as a gift, and this project is inspiring me to think outside the box. 🙂
