Custom Burlap Runner with a Bleach Pen
I gave you a glimpse of the custom burlap runner when I shared my Fall Home Tour. This was such a simple project… it’s crazy! I have a great love for burlap! You can check out all my stuff on my burlap page!
I love that there are so many options you can do… it’s custom after all! I decided to go with fall leaves and words I associate with Thanksgiving and fall, but you could use it as a seating chart and put your family member’s names.
How to Make a Custom Burlap Runner
Here’s what you need. Affiliate link provided for your convenience.
- Burlap Runner… this one is about 16 inches wide
- Bleach Pen
- Thick paper… I used butcher paper but cardstock would work too. You just don’t want the bleach to leak through
Place the pieces of paper under the areas you want to write on and start writing.
See I told you this was too easy!
I drew some leaves and wrote some Fall / Thanksgiving phrases.
I kept the paper underneath overnight, but I’m sure it would be dry within a couple of hours.
Perfect for your fall tablescape, your Thanksgiving dinner table, Christmas… anytime!
