Cutting Board Organization
It’s Thrift Store Decor time again and I’ve got a cute makeover! I’ve been on the search for something to keep my cutting boards organized. They use to just be leaning up against the kitchen wall and of course when you pull one out from behind the front ones would slide. So I was thrilled when I came across a basket at the thrift store that was the perfect size.
Cutting Board Organization
This cute Christmas, snowman lined basket was just the right size. So I pulled out the Christmas lining and taped it up with some painter’s tape.
Then I used some acrylic craft paint and dry brushed (dabbing off most of the paint before brushing) my cute stripe on. This was literal a 5 minute makeover!
After it dried and I pulled off the tape I had a cute striped basket to store my cutting boards in… just what I needed!
{affiliate link included for your convenience} I used DecoArt Blue Bahama paint – LOVE this color!
Don’t you love organization updates in your home!!!
Make sure to check out the other ladies and their awesome thrift store makeovers too….
I use a metal file holder for my cutting boards. It’s a heavy duty one with a punch design like a radiator cover. Staples sell them.
That’s a great idea Linda!
What a great idea! I can’t have enough baskets in our home!! Pretty makeover 🙂
Love this makeover! So simple yet has such a “wow” factor! (Plus, such a great idea to keep those cutting boards in order.) Love!!
yay for organizing!! 🙂

Thanks Gail!
Cute! Sometimes all it takes is a little paint.
Some good paint can solve most problems 🙂
Love the basket painted, super cute!
Thanks Kristin!
I miss the little snowman. I miss the snow out my window too. I lie. But I am glad your boards are corralled.
We don’t get snow – so I’m not missing it.. but yes… no more sliding boards! 😉
