DIY Painted USA Flag Pallet Sign
Are you ready for the 4th of July? We are big 4th lovers here, not only because we love the USA but because it’s my husband and I’s anniversary. This year we’ll be celebrating 16 years. This summer I’ve got a few signs I’m working on so I thought I’d try making a fun slated, pallet like sign and paint it up in the shape of the continental US with a flag print… and this is what I came up with. This sign was so easy to make, just a bunch of 8 foot strips of wood chopped up. I printed out the map enlarged on 4 pieces of paper and then traced over it with a pencil pressing into the wood. Then I used acrylic paints to make the flag. I roughed it up a little bit with some sandpaper. This was a fun one to figure out with the stripe spacing. I’ve got another fun summer sign I’m working on that I can’t wait to share with you guys. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
I love this DIY pallet sign – what a great project for the holidays! Congrats on 16 years. I am featuring your post as one of my picks for Wonderful Wednesday Blog Hop 180 – thanks for sharing!
This looks so nice! I already made my red/white/blue decorations for this year, but will keep this in mind for next year. Pinned. Thanks for sharing on Merry Monday.
