Beachy DIY Sea Glass Decor
Today I’ve got a cute, beachy DIY Sea Glass Decor project to share with you for my Thrift Store Decor Makeover! I’ve been slowly collecting glass for this project when I’ve seen cute ones at the thrift store.
DIY Sea Glass Decor
I found some unique glass pieces I liked over the past couple months, plus I used some glass bottles from home (grenadine, salad dressing, etc) plus I found some clear glass Christmas bulbs. I though all of these would look great for summer all decked out with some sea glass spray paint.

Sea Glass Decor Supplies:
- thrift store glass
- recycled glass bottles
- Christmas bulbs
- Sea Glass Spray Paint (I used Sea Foam and Aqua for this project)
- Goof Off
Here’s the glass objects I started with for this thrift store project.
All the glass pieces I found at the thrift store were 50% off… so I scored some good deals. If you have sticky residue that won’t come over with warm soapy water or vinegar, Goof Off works great.
Sea Glass Spray Paint is great! I love the beachy colors this paint comes in. It covers beautifully and you can easily get the look I have here in 1-2 coats.
You only need to let the glass pieces dry for a few minutes before you can spray the second coat… so it’s a super quick project.
I just love these 2 shades of blue. They have a Cornflower shade which is more of a deep blue that I’d love to get my hands on.
I love that you get such beautiful, subtle color; yet you get a lovely textured look all while still being able to see through the glass. This spray paint definitely tops my list of favorite spray paints!
These sea glass decor pieces along with my Patriotic Driftwood USA Tutorial, some lanterns I found on clearance and I’ve got a cute summer mantel.

Absolutely love your mantel design, especially the round Christmas balls. I must try that one. I’ve tried the sea glass paint on various shaped bottles, and I agree how great they look! Great DIY! Always love your ideas!
