Don’t Forget! Another Laundry Chalkboard
On my last trip to Dollar Tree I grabbed this wooden sign…
only $1 (of course).
I removed the hanging string and put on 2 coats of chalkboard paint.
Then I used a white pen to write out “Don’t Forget!” I’m pretty sure I got the pen at Michael’s, but it’s been a few years.
I used the same pen to create some pretty doodles around the edge.
It’s is hanging right next to our door out to the garage. A great place to put little notes of things not to forget.
One more item finished for the laundry room!
Don’t forget ~ only 2 days left to the end of my 1st giveaway!!! Click here to read all the details. Remember you must be a follower & you must leave me a comment on this post to be entered to win. I’ve recently just realized there are other readers than Google ~ DUH! So make sure you leave a comment.
Other exciting goodies coming up… I’m working on a furniture piece that’s in my 7-yr-old daughter’s room (Pottery Barn Teen inspired)… I’ll be showing you some Christmas decor from around our house (just need to finish) & I’ve got another contest in the works. A company has contacted me with a generous offer of a goodie for my readers – YEA!
So stay tuned & Happy Wednesday!
Love the dollar store and love what you came up with.
Such a good idea! So much cuter than the note I always have on the kitchen counter 🙂
Thanks for sharing.
I have got to spend more time at the dollar store…..This is WAY cute….and clever too.
Warm blessings,
Spencer
I just bought some of those last week at the dollar store too and wasn't sure what I was going to do with them. Now I know. Thanks for sharing.
Cool idea. Did the sign come unfinished just like you show it in the pic? (or did you flip it)
