I love cooking full meals for my family, but let’s be real… some days that’s a challenge. And some days the kiddos are off at different events, friends, etc. So on those nights it’s so nice to have an easy, delicious meal on hand, like P.F. Chang’s.
I love the idea of starting a Wok Wednesday tradition. Why not give ourselves a break once a week with an easy, delicious meal. I love that P.F. Chang’s has everything you need to make a meal… appetizers, rice and 12 entree options.
We love Orange Chicken and steamed rice. They also have Sweet and Sour Chicken, Beef and Broccoli and so many other delicious choices. Their entrees are made with quality beef, white meat chicken breasts or succulent shrimp. the stuff you want to feed your family.
So here’s my idea… next Wednesday… pull out the nice dishes, light some candles and make some P.F. Chang’s for dinner. You can find P.F. Chang’s in your grocer’s frozen aisle.
The Orange Chicken took only 12 minutes from start to finish. Add your favorite rice and you’ve got a great meal.
To help you get ready for the new Wok Wednesday tradition I’ve got a giveaway!

We like to steam a bag of mixed asian veggies and cook some rice to go with our #WokWednesday PF Changs for a quick and easy take-out fake-out at home.
Thanks for the reminder! My family loves P.F. Changs! …and now some of our favs are in grocery stores. Often, over the past several years, while shopping at the Mall, I’ve taken my daughter to P.F. Chang’s restaurant for lunch (at the Mall…where many fast food ((lower cost but not as healthy))
options were also available. We always ordered the asian lettuce wraps/appetizer size. My daughter, a recent grad in health & wellness, asked me to start making at home! Challenge on! Having watched a zillion cooking shows I’ve learned how to “deconstruct” a meal via one ingredient at a time. After figuring out most ingredients, we’ve now tweeked the recipe to accommodate her Paleo Lifestyle. Problem – my wok is from my college days. I’ll leave the year I was in college up to you! Let’s just say I recently tried my recipe out on an ELECTRIC WOK!!! While impressed with the options now available in buying electric woks..I’d need practice to truly meet my daughter’s challenge. Either way. ..manually on stove top or electric. ..my daughter’s “Paleo” friends are now waiting on my recipe! I’ve been having fun taking a recipe like “PF Chang’s” lettuce wrap appetizer… and converting it to a “Paleo” version! My daughter’s friends are anxiously awaiting my first taste test. I’d love to adopt a new wok to show off at the taste test. If all goes well with your generous gift of the wok etc., I’d be happy to share my Paleo version of Lettuce wraps a la Molly! (Thank you for your consideration! ) Remember my friends…making someone their favorite dish with that person’ s dietary needs/preferences, is a true sign of your love for he/she! Show’em some love yoday! Pay it forward! Have a happy day!
We have an oriental stir fry that would work well with this wok. This orange chicken sounds good, too.
We have “Taco Tuesday” so I think that “Wok Wednesday” would be fun! I think it’s nice to have a standing meal idea each week to save time on decision-making; otherwise, I spend so much time deciding what to make for dinner. I would rather just decide which favor of PF Chang to get 🙂 Thanks for the theme tip, and I hope I win!
I’d love to try out a spicy green bean dish that I used to get at a Chinese food truck. That would make for a delicious Wok Wednesday!
Mmm totally craving orange chicken now!
Oooh yum, I love everything from P.F. Chang’s!! This looks amazing!
I would love to do wok Wednesday
We have a Mexican night and a pizza night, but we have never done a night centered around Asian food. Wok Wednesday would be a great addition to our routine. There are so many ways to eat Asian food that you could literally eat it in some form or another every night and not tire of it.
I like to make Teriyaki steak….would love to have a wok tho!
When I was a teen, I used to cook for my mom and 5 sisters & brothers on occasion. Typically it was a stir fry or chow mein made in my mom’s wok. I would love to have a good wok again for quick & easy stir fries on busy weeknights.
I’m going to be honest, I haven’t used a wok in years, but you’re inspiring me to! I might just have to pull it out to try this Orange Chicken! It had my mouth watering when I saw your photo on Instagram and I was blown away when I learned it was frozen! I’m going to add it to my grocery list. Thanks!
