I’m so excited to share my Fall Leaves and Pumpkins Please Fall Mantel!  I’ve had so much fun putting together this year’s autumn mantel.  Our weather is still blazing hot, but my home now feeling like fall.  This year’s mantel definitely revolves around the DIY sign I made.  Beautiful leaves and pumpkins are the focus this year.  And I’m so excited and honored to be joining an amazing group of bloggers who will be sharing lovely fall items all this week.

Fall Leaves and Pumpkins Please Fall Mantel

Friday I’ll be sharing how I made my Fall Leaves and Pumpkins Please Sign.  It’s a super easy DIY project and it’s fun because you can customize it with whatever you want your sign to say.

Autumn Mantel with DIY Sign, Thrift Store makeovers and White Pumpkins

I found some beautiful faux leaves and greenery to add to my mantel.  With our blazing heat in Southern California we still don’t have even really pumpkins in the stores yet.  So lots of faux to this mantel.

The galvanized bucket I found at our thrift store earlier in the year.  Only cost me $1!  I filled with with a variety of Oak branches and twigs to get the look I wanted.

You can find how I created those pretty mercury glass pieces in copper and burgundy HERE.  I just love how they turned out.  All those glass pieces were either 50 cents or $1.

I filled the copper bowl with some pinecones, acorns and a little white pumpkin.

A simple white pumpkin graces my burgundy mercury glass.

I love how the color turned out on the burgundy pieces.  It reminds me of the vibrant colors you see in fall leaves.

Another copper mercury piece holds a little pinecone and a brown bottle holds a sprig of some vibrant yellow flowers.  A lovely faux white pumpkin sits pretty between some dark pieces.

This fun wood piece was also a $1 thrift store find.  Looks just like a leaf to me.

A couple more burgundy pieces filled with pinecones and flowers.

And a fun, rustic twig pumpkin finishes off the mantel this year.  I just love how it turned out and I hope you did too.

Hi Maryann, I can tell you had fun with that mantle. And it’s so great that there were so many thrifted objects that you brought together…and they are playing so well together.

If the rest of your home follows your mantle, it will surely be lovely and inviting.

    Thanks for sharing my friend.

    Hugs, Lynn

Another beautiful mantel. I love your saying, “Fall leaves and Pumpkins Please!!” I’m right there with you. I just love fall. Here in PA it gets so pretty with all the changing leaves and cool weather. However, it doesn’t last nearly long enough and is too quickly followed by winter. Your mantel has the perfect mix of neutral elements, lots of texture and that pop of fall color I love.
