A Garden is a Friend
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I love Spring… fresh green leaves on the once bare trees, flowers bursting forth and the warm breezes. A couple weeks ago I had the priveledge of attending a Miracle-Gro event at a local Home Depot. With Spring in full swing, the event was put on to share about ways to save water using water wise plants and products. Here is Southern California having plants that don’t take a lot of watering is a necessity. So Miracle-Gro participated in this awesome event.
There were plent of gorgeous flowers like the Purple Rose Robinia tree with the gorgeous hanging flowers (one of my favorites).
There were succulents, shrubs, ground cover, trees and plenty of flowers.
There was plenty of fun for the kiddos with a bounce house, free hot dogs, drinks and popcorn. There were also vendors from the local water district and nurseries sharing value information with customers.
And of course there was building fun for the little ones… birdhouses and little toolboxes. I love Kangeroo Paws (the bottom left). They take very little water and have wonderful vibrant color.
There was plenty of Miracle-Gro Moisture Contol Potting Mix which helps to adsorb water which prevents both over watering and underwatering.
And because I love Spring and flowers so much I created a free printable for you guys!

Thank you Miracle-Gro for the opportunity to check out this great event. If you live in the Southern California area here are some upcoming events you’ll want to check out:
May 3rd… Home Depots in North Moreno Valley and Rancho Cucamonga
May 17th… Home Depot in Riverside
May 31st… Home Depot in Perris and South San Bernardino
June 7th… Home Depot in Redlands
Thanks for stopping by friends! I hope you guys have been enjoying some beautiful spring weather and enjoying all the planting fun that goes with that.
Love that. I’ve been to these Home Depot events and remember the Miracle Grow booth. We had a booth for Raindrip Drip Irrigation. The combination of these two would be great especially for So. California. The printable is very cute! Thank you.
Absolutely Cari… I use drip irrigation in our yard… it’s a must.
I use Miracle-Gro every year (which reminds me I have to get some more) . I checked out the link to their website too, there was lot’s of good information there – thanks! Your printable is sweet too, pretty!
Thank for the reminder… my yard and garden are begging for some Miracle Gro!
So fun! Miracle-Gro is on my shopping list for tomorrow. 😉
I’ve been a big fan of Miracle-Gro! It really works! Love your printable too!
Maryann, your flowers are beautiful! I’m so sad I won’t be planting flowers this year but I may print that gorgeous printable out.

We LOVE us some Miracle Gro over here! They truly are the best. Super sweet printable.
Always use Miracle-Gro and LOVE that darling printable!
I have used Miracle-Gro products for years and I swear by them ~ they are the best! I loved seeing your photos ~ it’s still a little too cold to plant summer flowers here but I can hardly wait to get my hands dirty.
That’s what I get for being a blabber mouth, fo got to thank you for gorgeous printable. I’ll print that out for our daughter, she’s quite a gardener. Her and youngest son/families live fairly close by. Oldest two live in San Diego again.
Spring in western CO is kinda iffy for quite a while. I love it tho when I go to bed at night then get up next a.m. seems like the trees grew leaves overnight. We have lots of trees around besides in our yard so I really enjoy seeing them leaf up. We’re up on a hill so some of trees are below to some degree so I can see when they leaf out. So pretty. Now if our lilac bushes would bloom I’d be happy. We have two and the finally bloomed last year after 4 yrs. in ground. Our ground out here is very full of alkali so some plants just don’t do well at all.
Wish our Home Depot would have some thing like yours did. We only have one Home Depot in Grand Junction. We live about 18 miles west of G.J. out in country and the CO river runs along I-70 about 2 miles south of us. We can see all the way to I-70, see the cars, etc.
We used to live in San Diego, east county, Santee. left there in’ 92 for 20 acres in MT outside Helena on Canyon Ferry Lake for 7 yrs. I’d go back in a heart beat but we wouldn’t have what we had then. Left in ’99 for KY, Bowling Green area, 5 yrs. then left there in 2004 for here. We lived in San Diego areas for 21 yrs. About only thing I miss is the beach. Happy weekend
