Hi Friends! Busy… the one word that can describe every mom out there, right? Our lives are busy running from one thing to the next while trying to be the best moms, the best wife and at the same time trying to take care of ourselves by squeezing in a 20 minute walk and eating healthy.
That’s why I’m so excited to share with you these Honestly Good meals from Lean Cuisine… and they are honestly good! I’m normally not a fan of anything that is prepared in the microwave, other than popcorn…. but these were delicious.
Lunchtime rolls around at our home and I want to feed my kiddos something healthy. My oldest two children are homeschooled and I’m normally right in the middle of a project or grading one of their essays when they are starving. I love that they can make these healthy, well balanced meals in just minutes.
Lean Cuisine has just launched this new collection of Lean Cuisine Honestly Good meals. They are 100% all natural with wholesome ingredients and have a sauce you can add yourself. We tried the Honey Citrus Chicken, Pomegranate Chicken and the Pineapple Black Pepper Beef. They also have a Lemongrass Salmon, Plum Ginger Grain-Crusted Fish and Roasted Red Pepper Chicken.
The Honey Citrus Chicken had the most delicious sauce packed with flavor! It comes with whole grain pasta and broccoli and yellow zucchini.
I think the Pineapple Black Pepper Beef was my favorite… but it was a tough choice! The beef was tender, which I don’t expect in a microwave meal and the pineapple, black pepper sauce was so tasty. It’s perfect with the brown and wild rice.
The Pomegranate Chicken has a sweet sauce which is so good with the whole grain pilaf.
I honestly loved all three of them! Like I said, I’m not a microwave meal gal and I was truly impressed. Each of these were under 400 calories and packed with whole grains! I can’t wait to try the other three. I found the Honestly Good Lean Cuisine meals while shopping at Target.
An added bonus is that together with their farmers, Lean Cuisine is donating a portion of the vegetables grown for the Lean Cuisine Honestly Good meals to local communities… a win ~ win!
Thanks for stopping by friends!
