This time of year kiddos are making their long wish lists… I know my kiddos have. All their wishes laid out in hopes that they might receive some of them. I remember that anticipation as I’d wait to open my presents… just hoping that gift I was really hoping for would be there.
As we get older our wishes change. Sometimes it’s for bigger items, but most of the time we turn our hopes and wishes for things for others. Maybe it’s a family you know who is having a hard time financially… maybe it’s a family member who is sick… maybe it’s a need at your child’s school.
Through December 31, 2014 UPS will donate $1 to one of their charity partners (Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, or Toys for Tots) up to $100K for every wish submitted with the hashtag #WishesDelivered.
So how do you participate??
Think of a wish you’d like to make for someone else! Wishes can automatically be submitted to the UPS hub by simply posting your wish on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, or you can also go direct to ups.com/wishes and submit your wish there. The more you share the more money that goes to those great charities.
Remember these are wishes for other people. That’s one of the greatest parts of this season… giving to others!
Here’s a video to explain more…
You have from now through the end of December, 2014 to give your wish shoutouts. I’d love for you to leave me a comment sharing a link to your #WishesDelivered.
