Here’s a cute Mini Chalkboard Wreath from Erin at Elizabeth Joan Designs. She’s here to share a neat little craft that you can put together to help you with your gift wrapping or decorating.

Super cute, right? These were so easy whip up. Here’s what you need:
SUPPLIES
(affiliate links provided for your convenience)
- Wood Tags
- Small Garland (I used faux boxwood)
- Chalkboard Paint
- Paint/Craft Brush
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Baker’s Twine/String
- Chalk Pen

|INSTRUCTIONS|
Step 1: Using a paint/craft brush, paint the wood tag with chalkboard paint and allow it to dry. (I only did one coat and it dried in just a few minutes.)

Step 2 – Cut one piece of the garland to the circumference of the tag and use the hot glue gun to attach it around the outside edge. I ended up adding two layers of the garland around my circle tag to make the wreath a little fuller. Feel free to add as many layers as you see fit.

Step 3 – Attach the baker’s twine/string to the mini chalkboard wreath.
Step 4 – Add a name, message, or drawing with a chalk pen/pencil.

I love how this little mini chalkboard wreath turned out! What do you think? These would make adorable gift tags to dress up your holiday presents. They could even work as a fun ornament.

These are very nice and cute
I think these would make adorable tags as a package add-on and then an ornament. I’d add a date to the back and the “artist’s” initials. I never met a piece of bakery twine I didn’t love! Someone gave me a handful of tiny velvet bows that I have used on small wreathes. Jingle bells would be great, too–great to tell if kids are getting into presents!
