One Dollar Thrift Store Table Makeover

Thanks for Sharing!

A One Dollar Thrift Store Table?  Yep!  My husband found this table at one of our thrift store for only $1.  I loved the shape and the textural details, it was just a little worn and needed some paint love.

One of our local thrift stores has a “color of the week” sale they do.  So each week a new color is on sale.  During that week that color is 50% off, except for Thursdays when every item that color is only $1.  So when my husband texted me with a before photo of this table I knew I could give it new life.

Look at those details!  It needed some cleaning and a little sanding before I could start painting.

I used a white, chalky paint which is such an easy paint process.  I gave it 2 coats, except for the doors, I wanted to keep the dark wood peaking through there.

I love the planked top, the rattan doors and the thin planked sides… so much detail on this table!

I decided to leave the base unpainted, just to mix it up a bit.

Now make sure you head on over and check out the other great thrift store makeovers from my friends…

  1. You super-scored with this table for $1.00! I like how you painted it and let some of the original wood tone come through on the doors. Great furniture save!
