12 Amazing Outdoor DIY Projects
I’m excited that it’s time for the DIY Housewives to get-together again and share with you guys some AWESOME DIYS!!! This month it’s all about the Outdoors – so we’ve got 12 AMAZING Outdoor DIY Projects that you guys are just going to LOVE! I was blown away and so inspired by these outdoor projects… we’ve got pizza ovens, outdoor patios and tables, outdoor curtains, fireplaces… it’s amazing friends… you’re going to LOVE it!
One of my favorite outdoor DIY projects has to be our Gel Stained Garage Door! Folks this took less than $20 and only a few hours and made our curb appeal go through the roof.
Our garage door was so faded and sad… truly sad. It’s been 2 years this month since we did this project and it still looks just as awesome!
Gotta love EASY DIY’s that make a HUGE impact.

What is your garage door made out of? Our is Steele and I heard the gel stain only works with fiberglass?

I finally got up the nerve to do my garage door. It only took me the two years after you did yours. I have to say that I was REALLY nervous about it, then I had an HOA, but I didn’t even tell them. Its way more easy to ask for forgiveness than permission…always! 🙂 i have to say that we LOVE it. It matches the front door and makes it pop. Im a little nervous about the west facing sun in San Antonio, TX at about 5 pm, but we will deal with that if it happens. Ive got a few more projects for the front porch, including staining of the concrete and adding mexican porcelain tile, but I got the blessing from husband for that one. 🙂 Anyway! Thanks for the inspiration and kick in the bum!
I love gel stain! I have only used it on my front door, so awesome that you can use it on the garage door! Looks amazing!
