Plaid & Burlap Ruffled Tree
Hi ~ Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. I am LOVING classic red Christmas plaid and burlap! In fact this week you’re going to see quite a few projects that I’ve done combining the two. I had purchased one of those super shiny, disco-ball looking Christmas trees on clearance a few years ago. So with the shape already there I cut strips of burlap, sewed one side with twine and then pulled it till it gathered. The plaid ribbon is wired, so I pulled the top wire till it gathered into a pretty ruffle too. I attached both the burlap and plaid ribbon ruffle with my trusty hot glue gun. I love the combo or the rustic with the classic. Thanks for stopping by! Hope you liked my tree and get ready for an onslaught of burlap & plaid.
2 of my favorite fabrics and then ruffles – so cute!
So pretty! Love the texture and ruffles!
Adorable!
What a great combo! I get why you are so inspired. You inspired me!
