Scalloping Jujubee’s Room

Thanks for Sharing!

My youngest little princess has been waiting her room to be painted {pink}, like her older sister, for over a year now.

I LOVE her paint color though.  It’s such a happy green!

But once I saw this adorable scallop paint job that was linked up at the Power of Paint Party, I knew how I could add some {pink} to her room.  Price’s Day-by-Day shared her scallop paint job in her big girl room makeover… it’s an adorable room!

A couple of hours and my “Jujubee” got some more {pink} in her room.

{PINK} Love

I love how girly it is!

I’m lovin’ a scallop…

It’s not like she really needed more pink… but I had the can in the garage from our old house…

a princess really can’t have too much {pink}!

(I still want to paint her dresser… white?  pink?)

I’m lovin’ it & so is my sweet 5 year old!

Don’t worry… Later this week I’ll share a full tutorial on how I did.

I’m sharing my scallop fun at the AMAZING parties in my “Parties” button in my menu bar!

  2. Oh it is gorgeous! Since I don't have a girls room to decorate I had to make the laundry room a bit girly 🙂 You did an amazing job!

  3. Sweet as sugar. Yes, I'd paint the dresser — white would be my pick. You certainly must have a very happy little princess in your house. Please stop by if you have time. Jane F.

  4. Love the scallops! I plan on re-painting my daughter's room sometime this month and I'm thinking of doing the scallops. I'm thinking of painting her room pink, which makes me wonder what color pink did you use? I plan on making the scallops green. Should look nice.

BTW, I would paint the dresser white.

    Again, fabulous room!

  5. Hi Maryann…

Ohhh…I'd say that your little Jujubee is one lucky princess!!! I just adore the pink scallop that you added to the top of the room…sooo pretty-n-pink and sooo princessy! Hehe! Loved the little white buttons or dots that you added to the top of each scallop! It really is in all the details, my friend!!! You mentioned painting the chest in that room…I think it would be sooo pretty to paint it all white but paint the drawer and door faces pink! Just an idea! Hehe! Anyway, thank you so much for sharing this lovely bedroom with us…I really did enjoy it!!!

    Warmest wishes,

I would paint the dresser white and add some pink accents, just a suggestion 🙂

  7. Can't wait for the tutorial… I'm so "borrowing" this for my girls room!

Paint the dresser white (that's my vote anyway)!

  8. Carly she got the bedding from my parents a year ago for a birthday present. My mom bought it at TJ Maxx. I love it too… I just love polka-dots.

  9. I love, love, love this room!

My suggestion: Paint her dresser White with a Pink top and knobs, to match her adorable dollhouse bookcase.

  10. I am just honored I could inspire someone I admire!!!! I LOVE reading yoru blog daily, and for you find something you like that I did is just a huge honor!!!! 🙂

    Thanks!!
