yep, I’m painting my staircase…
I decided to try turning them into popsicles.
Here’s the recipe I use regularly, but you can use any combo of juices, fruits, yogurts, etc… have fun & be creative!
1 cup juice (I used an orange mango this time)
1 cup water
2 scoops of protein powder
1 frozen banana
8-10 frozen strawberries
I LOVE using frozen fruit… it really does make a smoothie thicker! (You can lay your cleaned fruit on a cookie sheet and freeze & then store in baggies till you need them.)
Toss into the blender & blend until thick & smooth.
This is where we normal just drink up… but today I poured them into popsicle trays…
After dinner the kiddos enjoyed their smoothie popsicles…
These are great anytime… with the protein powder it’s a great mid-afternoon snack too.
My youngest had to showoff her “crazy” eyes!
