Spring Thrift Store Basket
The Thrift Store girls are back together with some great thrift store decor makeovers. This month I have a Spring Thrift Store Basket to share with you. I found a cool shaped basket, gave it a paint updated and filled it with some touches of Spring for our coffee table.
Spring Thrift Store Basket
Here’s what I started with.
I used a dark gray chalk paint on the basket.
It has a purple undertone which I figured would be beautiful with the flowers I was going to fill it with.
Once it was dry I took a piece of sandpaper to it and took some of the paint off… giving it a more worn look.
Then I filled it with some gorgeous faux flowers, moss eggs and twine wrapped eggs.
It’s the perfect little centerpiece for our coffee table.
Now make sure to hop on over and check out the other great thrift store makeovers from these ladies…
See what they made with these….

UGH. Mine would never look that unperfectly perfect!
Paint is so wonderful! It’s such an easy makeover for your basket. It looks so much better Maryann!
