How to Make a Spring Wreath

So when it came time to create my spring wreath my eyes kept being drawn to these beautiful shades of green and blue. It’s been a long, wet and cold winter, and these colors are just perfect for Spring. You can use whatever colors and flowers you love though to get the look you want.

To create this beauty I started with some faux flowers (I used hydrangeas), a grapevine wreath, some teal blue burlap ribbon, and some moss.

The white flowers were on a vine garland, so I decided to just wrap the vine around the wreath. You could cut them off if you prefer though.

Then I added the greenery. I put the green hydrangeas in randomly. I just inserted the stems between the grapevine. They fit nice and snug between the grapevine pieces.

Then I took the teal blue burlap ribbon and twisted it as I wrapped it around the wreath. I love the teal blue with the vibrant greens.

I used the moss to fill in any open spaces around the floral wreath.

Such a simple DIY wreath, but perfect for your spring decor. This would make such an inviting front door wreath.

Wreaths are so fun to make because it’s so easy to change them up. You could use a boxwood wreath and add some pink tulips. The pink blooms with the green would be gorgeous. Maybe add a bow. Of course I love my hydrangea wreath but you can make your own unique wreath for yourself or they make an excellent gift.
