Updated Autumn Wreath with Corn Husks

Thanks for Sharing!

Hi Friends!  A few years ago I made a autumn wreath using a grapevine wreath base and adding lots of faux leaves and berries.  I’ve loved it!  This year I wanted an easy update.

So I decided to add some corn husk to my autumn wreath.

It was super easy… I just tucked the corn husk into the grapevine base.

I think the corn husk lightens it up a bit and adds a great contrast against our black door.

Don’t you love the colors of autumn!  So rich and vibrant.

Here in Southern California this is the deepest fall color I’m going to find.

Over the years I’ve made some other fun projects with corn husks.  I still love my all corn husk wreath.  It’s hanging in our family room right now.  I also wrapped votive candles with corn husks, which is so pretty on a Thanksgiving tablescape.

Thanks for stopping by friends!
