Wood Pumpkin with Raffia

Today I’ve got a cute pumpkin project to share with you… a wood pumpkin with raffia. This pumpkin DIY project is an easy DIY project that you can tackle.

Wood and Raffia Pumpkin

I love pumpkins… I can’t get enough of them during this season.   So I thought up this crazy idea.

cutting out a wood pumpkin

I traced a pumpkin onto a piece of slated wood and cut it out with a jigsaw.

Cut out wood pumpkin

I gave it a good sanding and then drilled some holes where the details would be.

Then I painted it up with some white paint and weaved some raffia through it.

Wood and Raffia Pumpkin

I love raffia details for fall… don’t you?

Wood and Raffia Pumpkin

Such a fun autumn décor addition. I hope you get a chance to make this Wood Pumpkin soon!
