  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup pbutter
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup dark corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  1. Pop your popcorn. I used white corn kernels and popped them in a brown paper bag in the microwave using the popcorn setting.
  2. Add the other gingerbread kettle corn ingredients to a sauce pan and heat over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a bowl and continue to stir, letting it boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour the gingerbread sauce over the popped corn, drizzling slowly as your mix the popcorn.
  4. Pour kettle corn onto wax paper or parchment paper and allow it to cool.
  5. In a small bowl mix together the milk and powdered sugar.
  6. Once kettle corn is cooled, drizzling icing on top of kettle corn.
