How to Grill Artichokes

So what makes a delicious artichoke?

Char on the grill

A great dipping sauce

Trim the Stem

Cut down the length of the stem to about 1/2 inch.

Head

Cut off the top of the artichoke.

Tips

Trim the tips of each of the artichokes leaves.

Cut

Slice the artichoke in half. So pretty inside.

Remove Choke

Scoop out the center fuzzy part.

Boil

Boil artichokes then add oil, salt, and pepper.

Grill

Grill both sides until charred.
