Equipment

  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls cans with 8 cinnamon rolls
  • fresh cranberries if desired
  • fresh rosemary if desired

Instructions

  • Preheat oven as directed on your canned cinnamon rolls. Mine was 400 ℉
  • Open your cans of cinnamon rolls. Cut each cinnamon roll in half.

  • Roll all but 2 of the cinnamon roll dough pieces into balls.
  • Place the parchment paper on the cookie sheet. Place 7 of the dough balls in a row towards the bottom of the cookie sheet . Leave a few inches for your tree trunk.

  • Place another row on top of the 7 balls. The one above with have only 6. Then one above will have 5. Continue this pattern until you get to the top with only 1 dough ball.
  • Take the 2 pieces that you didn't roll into form them into a rectangular shape and place them next to each other at the bottom to form the tree trunk.

  • Bake in the oven as directed on your can of cinnamon rolls. Mine took about 14 minutes.
  • Drizzle the icing that came with your cinnamon rolls on top of your cinnamon roll Christmas tree.
  • Adorn with cranberries, rosemary, or anything else you want to decorate your tree with.

Notes

Serve warm. Leftovers can be store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
