Baked Apple Cider Donuts

Super easy and packed with flavor, these baked apple cider donuts are a great fall treat.

Ingredients

box
gingerbread mix
I used Betty Crocker 14.5 ounce box
1½
cup
apple cider
1
large egg
½
cup
all purpose flour
Icing
½
cup
powdered sugar
confectioners sugar
1
tsp
apple cider
or you can use milk or water
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350℉. Spray your donut pan with nonstick baking spray.
In a large bowl combine the gingerbread mix, apple cider, egg, and flour.
Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Let cool in donut pan for about 5 minutes before removing to a cooling rack.
Let the donut cool 15 minutes before topping with icing.
Icing
Whisk together the powdered sugar and apple cider to make your icing. Drizzle or dunk your donuts in the icing.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
